I noticed that the old runtimes in https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/releases supports xz format squashfs well, but when I add the same squashfs file to the runtime files provided in this repo, I received this:

Squashfs image uses xz compression, this version supports only zlib, zstd.

It seems that xz and glib and lz4 and lzo and lzma support has been removed?

We would like to standardize on libzstandard (no pun intended), pending on AppImage/AppImageSpec#44.

So ...
Does it mean that in future releases, there will be limited parameters for "better performance"?
