MacBook:

  • MacBook Model M4 14-inch MBP
  • macOS Sequoia 15.2
  • Charger Model: Standard MagSafe charger, 60W
  • Charging Cable: MagSafe 3
  • AlDente Pro 1.29

No external monitor connected, just plugged in. Attached below are my current AlDente settings. Was just wondering why it always exceeds 81% when I have limit set at 80% and automatic discharge toggled on. Also just got this macbook a week ago. Is this an issue for concern? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Carocim,

There is nothing to worry about; this is your settings' intended behavior. I can see you have the feature "Hardware Battery Percentage" enabled. Please check out our blog post Feature Explanation: Hardware Battery Percentage.
