I've noticed that the Pulseaudio module randomly stops working, and it shows that my volume is at 0% and my mic is a 0%. This isn't true, because...

  1. I am literally listening to music as I am writing this.
  2. Pavucontrol shows that my mic is on and receiving input.

Clicking on the module still launches Pavucontrol, so that still works.

As I've stated before, it appears this seems to be randomly happening. I don't know what's causing it, nor do I know how to reproduce it.

Almost forgot, here is what the entire bar looks like. It's quite annoying when I can't tell if my mic is muted or not, and can't tell where the volume is at. Hopefully someone here has an idea what's causing this and how I could fix it.

I'm not quite sure yet, but I have a feeling that locking my screen could be the culprit, but I am unable to test it as of right now.

Edit: I also noticed that sometimes the network module will randomly show "Disconnected" and reconnect a few minutes after that. The entire time, I still have internet. Weird.

You might consider writing/re-using a separate script that passes data to Waybar. Have you seen network-related bugs?
