Hello,
For the software to function, it needs to continuously connect to the device and update the data. To avoid interference with my modem usage, I’ve set the update interval to around 5 minutes.
However, in certain situations, I would like to trigger an immediate update.
For instance, when a motion sensor is triggered, I would like it to initiate a scene and trigger an update of the TP-Link information to check whether a device has connected to the Wi-Fi. The periodic update function should continue without disruption. (Alternatively, you could add a setting to reset or not reset the interval after a manual trigger, or even make it manual-only.)
If there’s a way to incorporate this trigger into a scene, it would greatly improve usability.
Thank you and best regards.
