LOL The fact U R worried the way U want 2 C things is 'ruining yor monitor' reveals U got $cammed =)) U can always get a regular LCD type thing where U don't hav 2 worry, so long as it's not IPS or something. In my experience ones with good off-angle color can get 'retention' problems like IPS even if they say they R not, so it's either fraud or 'before standards agreements' or something? N E waze, monitor tech peaked arounbd 2009 & started going down after 2011 =P N E thing LED-based has worse color than 'CCFL' fluorescent =P It's like EQ = U can fiddle with it all U want but U can't make a tiny speaker with a metal tweeter & plastic cone sound better than a big speaker with better components LOL Yes it helps 2 'polish the terd', but if U hav 2 kill the performance of yor monitor through software hax, U R better off with a cheap (or free) old monitor =) 4 example, the 1 iAm typing this rant on right now is in my kitchen, witch iGot off Craigslist FREE! =D ~> |

BTW: Another tip is 2 always move yor $hit around, & cycle yor wallpaper. iUse old freeware 'Wallpaper Master' & set it 2 cycle through 6 different ones, changing every 6 minutes. U can use as many as U want but B sure thay don't hav many overlapping features in the same areas, as the idea is 2 'spread the burn potential' so U don'tget 'ghosties' =) Yes even on many LDC panels like my current favorites the Vizio GV42L & Samsung LN52B750 they will get 'image retention' like tab icons across the top if U maximize a browser window full screen style a lot, so B sure now & then 2 move the windows, 4 everything, & avoid having N E thing sit in 1 spot for many hours at a time. U don't hav 2 move it a lot = just 30 pixels or so is fine in my experience = so the screen is doing smething different (more or less) in the same spots. Very contrasty shapes will 'burn' faster because the relatively large differences in 'wear' make it stand out more than gradual transitions. Note yes there R lots of monitors that 'cannot' burn, like (in my experience) more 'retro' style LCDs. The OLD HP stuff listed here iz GR8. Note the 'off angle viewing' is not good vertically compared 2 IPS or of couse OLED, but look even better than OLED once U tweak them out via software 2 jack the gamma curve a bit. They're a bit dark & over saturated when trying 2 'optimize' with the built in tools ~> Reprint (in case other site is down) ~> |

Hello,
Is it possible to add an built-in option to Thorium to desaturate the favicons in the tabs, to reduce strain on OLED panels?
