Issue:
DPI circumvention doesn't work well on many Russian Internet service providers.
For example,
A couple of weeks ago, I set up Adguard for a friend living in St. Petersburg. He uses the Rostelecom provider. At that time, Adguard assisted in accessing YouTube, but many websites related to opposition media failed to load. Meanwhile, SpoofDPI successfully accessed all the websites without any problems. (Latest stable macOS version)
Today, I noticed that my internet provider, Beeline in Moscow, seems to be adjusting the DPI settings. I've been experiencing issues with YouTube. Sometimes the page won't load at all, while other times only the video previews won't load. (Latest beta macOS version)
Currently, there are only a few options available in the advanced settings.
Context:
Since Roskomnadzor is actively monitoring and blocking VPN and DPI bypass tools in Russia, it will be good to update and adapt the application.
I think it's important because I often recommend Adguard as a simple solution for users who are not technical and want to bypass DPI restrictions. Especially for those who work on macOS.
Proposed solution
Ideally, I would like the tool to automatically select the desired configuration by pressing one button. However, I don't think this is feasible. So, I propose a simpler alternative.
I suggest borrowing from GoodbyeDPI a variety of settings and modesets, making it in the GUI.
