Hello,
I’m reaching out regarding an issue I’ve encountered after installing AdGuard Home on my Synology NAS server using Docker. Recently, two of my devices are experiencing DNS leaks, and I am unable to resolve this issue.
Here’s a description of the problem:
Despite not having enabled features such as parental control or safe search, the DNS traffic from these two devices seems to always be redirected to dns.adguard.com. This was not configured, and there is no apparent reason for this traffic to be directed to this server. For the other devices on my network, everything works as expected, and I can see all DNS requests going to the correct destinations (youtube.com, google.com, etc.).
However, for these two devices, when I perform a search (e.g., on Google), this request does not appear in the AdGuard Home logs. The DNS traffic is always redirected to dns.adguard.com, and nothing is being blocked. The same issue occurs with other services like TikTok or Telegram, where no activity is logged.
This issue started suddenly, while everything was functioning perfectly before. I could see the DNS requests from these devices in the logs, and the DNS traffic was being properly filtered.
I’ve double-checked the configuration, and everything seems correct. Can you help me resolve this issue or provide some guidance on why these two devices are incorrectly redirecting their DNS traffic?
Thank you in advance for your assistance and response.
Best regards,
