For Acly and other ComfyUI addon devs: Would you ever suggest to your users remote desktop connection to solve a bug? #1524

No. But it may mean that the bug remains unresolved. It's certainly a privacy & security risk, but also can be the only (feasible) way to solve an issue in some cases. |

I'm trying to get the ComfyUI by AIGODLIKE addon for Blender to work, when running into issues and asking for aid they couldn't solve with logs and they asked to get control of my computer through TeamViewer or other things I haven't heard of for remote access. That's a major security problem when you don't know someone, (not to mention how a lot of scams for software support happen) and not being able to read the language their addon UI (mostly for workflows+nodes translated to Blender type nodes and node options) and Python comments are in (the language being Mandarin Chinese) isn't making me feel any better about that since I can't tell quickly what the code is doing. Also the only youtube videos and second party tutorials are few and have some comments suggesting mal-behavior, though they could be false positives. Would it ever come down to logs and your own knowledge not helping, then forcing you to have to ask the user to give you access to their machine?
