God I cannot put into words how much I love C. It's just so elegant and powerful. It feels like the language of god. There's just so much you can do. I'm allergic to black boxes, and all that is gone, and you can see everything right in front of you.

It's like making the data dance, and you are the choreographer, coordinating every move, having ulimate control over every last detail, with peak efficiency

Every line, every detail, every bit and byte are at your whim to choreograph exactly how you want it, as chaotically or ordered as you want

Oh how difficult it is to perfect, but how satisfying it is when things work out just right

It feels as though, almost as if, you've got complete control over the hardware, bare metal. It is as close as you can get to digitally touching the hardware without assembly, except in a readable, elegant format

Watching data dance, visualizing it shift and twist as it gets passed through every line and function, juggled through pointers and references, makes me feel like I've got the playdough of the universe in my hands, and I've got a sliver of what it feels like to play god in my hands, that elegant design and flow, all in your hands, at your whim

I've studied many a language, human and programming alike, and not one, not a single one brings the same level of awe and inspiration to my heart as C
