Hi, thanks for making Soapy available, its been a great tool for learning about atmospheric turbulence and AO. We're currently using only the atmospheric phase screen tools, importing them into our phased laser array simulation. We seem to see a deficit in the phase variance and can't seem to track it down. Specifically, a sanity check on Soapy generated phase screens gives an RMS of about 2/3 of the expected 1 radian within circles of diameter r0. The soapy science cameras however give PSF's consistent with the input atmospheric r0 (and our own simulation doesn't). Is there some subtle scaling or other step inside soapy when the phase screens are used that could be rescaling?
Thanks for any suggestions on this front!
