Extensibility

I like extensibility. It gives a thing great ways to flourish and invite external connectivity - that is, people interested and creative contribution not necessarily part of the center of the thing. It allows for the possibility to accomplish great things and try new ideas without necessarily affecting the core. It nourishes the imagination and cultivates a spirit of vitality, creativity, order, fidelity, curiosity. Programming languages are kinds of extensibility. Git is extensibility. Configuration options are extensibility. A beautiful painting is extensibility. A regular uniform stringent pattern is extensibility. Involvement with others, collaboration, sharing, friendship, all extensibilities. When I create big things, the extensibility aspect of it is the sweet candy of possibilities always titillating my brain. Extensibility is good and to try and stop it somehow is perhaps an attempt to fool oneself about the inherent nature of a thing by putting the cart before the horse.
