Judging by the title, I think (and you should also) that this issue is an attention-worthy one! My macOS version is the latest Sequoia Developer Beta 2 and I cannot get my card reader to work with this kext at all. My laptop model is the ThinkPad T490 Type 20N3 and is at the latest BIOS and EC version too! At my first attempt of enabling this reader, I tried Sinetek-rtsx by cholonam, which worked like a charm! I also generated the logs to a log file using sudo dmesg | grep RTSX > /Volumes/EFI/RTSX.log and sudo dmesg | grep RTSF > /Volumes/EFI/RTSF.log with my preliminary knowledge. I also uploaded an image showing the Card readers section in System Information/Report. When peeking at the files, you'll realize that there are two files each with either "whenAttachedFromBoot" or 'whenNotAttachedFromBoot"; this doesn't mean that it works one way or another, because the reader does not work whatsover. Also, the "RTSF.log" file is for the RealtekCardReaderFriend.kext; which I suspect has nothing to do with this issue but still included it just in case 😃. Please reach me when you can @0xFireWolf 🙏!
